The Oprah Effect and Hair Transplants

The Oprah Effect on CNBC

After watching the Oprah Effect on CNBC the other night I was amazed how a simple mention by Oprah Winfrey can launch a product or even in industry into a total transformation.

This can be seen with all those "as seen on Oprah" sales pitches you get in your email inboxes. A perfect example is her buddy Dr. Oz endorsing Resveratrol as an age defying pill. Resveratrol sales are through the roof, and there are studies showing Resveratrol reverses hair loss.

On today's show, Dr Oz was at again and brought out Hair Transplant Surgeon Dr Bernstein. They showed a clip about FUE hair transplants and suggested that todays results look completely natural. The hair transplant result was shown live by a member of the audience and Oprah couldn't tell the difference.

This is a great endorsement for Hair Transplants and perhaps the Oprah Effect will remove some of the stigma involved with Hair Restoration.

Dr Bernstein did mention that Propecia and Rogaine should be tried first, but Hair Transplants are a viable solution for men and their hair loss.
